Bro. Xie's testimony for their moving

Our family just moved to New Westminster from Richmond in August, 2011. The same day we moved in, Brother Zhang Shufang and his wife visited us and brought dinner to our house. We were very touched by their service. We prayed together that this new home be for the Lord.

My wife and I have a burden and desire that our living be for preaching the gospel. We do need to be part of a vital group in our living. Our living is not just to attend the meeting but to contact people, too. We searched our contacts and found one brother and his family nearby but no one to take care of their spiritual life. They have not come to Lord's table meeting for a while. We were so happy to invite this family to our house even when the house was still under renovation. With Brother Zhang Shufang as our spiritual partner, we have opened our home to have a vital group gathering every Saturday evening since August. In our first home meeting, we had four families and one gospel friend. Praise the Lord.

One evening, we went to Queen's Park with our younger daughter. We met a couple from China at the playground. When we were preaching the gospel, we learned from this couple that they were Christians already and were looking for a home meeting for their spiritual life. We invited them to come to our vital group. In the following home meeting, we invited a group of saints from Richmond to have a blending. These few families enjoyed the meeting very much and joined our vital group.

From Monday to Sunday, no matter when, by telephone, computer, face to face, we contacted them. We did three things: prayer, reading the Lord's word (reading Bible and sharing), and caring for one another. This enabled us to live a vital life.

Praise the Lord for leading us in this new life in New Westminster. May these families be growing seeds, expand in the Lord's word and His gospel, take more and more sinners, gain His life and enter into His kingdom.
